ADENOMEGALY

Lymphadenopathy is the growth of one or more lymph nodes. It is a symptom present in many diseases. Superficial ganglia are usually only felt when palpated. However, they can become more evident as they increase in size. Enlarged lymph nodes can be caused by infectious diseases and some types of cancer. Among the tumors that can most often present with adenomegaly are leukemias, lymphomas and head and neck cancer.
