The anatomopathological test is performed in tissue fragments obtained through biopsy or surgery. In this test, a pathologist analyzes tissue and cellular abnormalities, usually through a microscope. The main goal is to reach a definitive diagnosis on the nature of a lesion. In oncology, the test also allows for other important information, such as type of tumor and malignancy degree.
