SMALL CELL CARCINOMA

It is a carcinoma whose cells divide very quickly. Most cases of this type of cancer occur in the lungs, being strongly associated with smoking. A small percentage can also occur in the gastrointestinal tract, or in the genitourinary tract, affecting the bladder or prostate.
